Print can be lightened by adding up to two hammer solenoid shims (P/N 1342475) or darkened by removing them (MAP 0470, 2-184).

			The error code tables (2-48 to 2-51) differ between the three model groups, so look a code up in the table for the machine being serviced.

			The lubrication guide (5-1) lists IBM No. 10 oil and No. 23 grease by lubrication point and says not to lubricate the homing LED area, the print hammer's printwheel contact surface or the transport belt, and that cleaning fluids damage the covers. It gives no service interval.
