[edit | edit source]The underside of an Amstrad ALT-286 with the memory cover removed, showing four Amstrad SIMMs (Panasonic MN41C4256SJ-08 and MN41256AJ-08 chips), the two BIOS EPROMs, one labelled "286(L) 41008-2" and the other carrying a Phoenix Technologies label, and an empty socket beside them. The machine is serial number N42016595 in the Collection Charles Cros (no. 1008) of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
