Controls of the Grandstand Star Force as drawn in Grandstand's instruction booklet: the power switch and sound switch on the panel below the display, the joystick on the left, the skill level select, start and phase select buttons, the firing button, and the adaptor plug going into the socket on the right-hand side, with the booklet's "Batteries" box (four Duracell MN1400 cells; the Grandstand Universal Mains Adaptor with its polarity switch set to negative; weak batteries cause malfunctions).
