== Power Supply Checks == The 5150's PSU is a heavy steel-cased unit, '''63.5 W''' on the original Type 1 or '''130 W''' on the Type 2 fitted to machines with a hard drive. Both are over 40 years old. === Voltage check === The PSU does not regulate properly under no-load. With the PSU connected to the motherboard and the machine powered on, measure across the P8/P9 motherboard connectors: {| class="wikitable styled-table" style="width:80%;" ! Rail !!
