The Macintosh Plus volume of Apple's Service Source is a 69-page service manual covering the Macintosh Plus. The PDF was distilled on 21 October 1995.
The Plus volume is one of only three Macintosh Service Source manuals that contains an Adjustments → Voltage chapter; the SE, SE/30, Classic and everything later have yoke and video adjustments only.
Service Source volumes are module-level documents. They give Apple's own specifications, symptom charts, take-apart procedures and module part numbers, but they do not carry schematics, board-level parts lists or component values, so they cannot be used to source a capacitor table. Where a figure below is quoted, it is quoted as Apple printed it.

[edit | edit source]The voltage adjustment is made on the power/sweep board through the external drive port using Apple voltage test cable 077-0135: orange lead 11.90–12.75 V, red lead 4.85–5.15 V, and the board is replaced if both cannot be brought into tolerance together. The procedure is transcribed in full on Macintosh 128K/512K Service Source.
