The Macintosh Performa 6200 is a PowerPC-based desktop computer introduced by Apple Computer on July 11, 1995. It is the non-CD-ROM variant of the Performa 6200CD, sharing the same logic board and case design but without the CD-ROM drive.

Differences from Performa 6200CD

The Performa 6200 differs from the Performa 6200CD only in the absence of the CD-ROM drive, offering a lower-cost entry point for consumers who did not require optical media.
