Apple LaserWriter Printers Volume I
The Apple Service Guide for LaserWriter Printers, Volume I is Apple's pocket on-site service guide for the LaserWriter and LaserWriter Plus, the LaserWriter II SC, NT, NTX, IIf and IIg, and the Personal LaserWriter SC, NT and LS. It is the January 1992 edition, part number 072-0631-B (printed on the back cover), and the running footer on every page reads ASG-LaserWriter Printers Jan 92. The scan has 217 pages.
Apple's introduction describes the guide as the second in a series of booklets for technicians repairing Apple products at customers' sites. It takes information from the Technical Procedures and other service publications and condenses it into a 5½ by 8 inch spiral-bound booklet. The January 1992 update replaced the original May 1991 release, moved the on-site troubleshooting material into a new first tab, and added the LaserWriter IIf and IIg.
Contents
editAn introductory section covers safety: the high-voltage, laser, fuser, ESD and lifting warnings, the LaserWriter Safety Rules, toner and laser safety, the laser warning labels, ESD prevention rules and setting up an ESD-safe workstation. Six tabs follow. Page numbering restarts in each tab, so a citation needs the tab as well as the page.

What this guide does not contain
editThe parts lists are a selection. Each opens with Apple's note: "The following parts list is not comprehensive. Only selected service modules and replacement parts are listed. When ordering a replacement module or spare part, be sure to check the part number in the guide against the current price pages in the Apple Service Programs manual." The guide has no schematics and no component values; the wiring diagrams show connections between assemblies only.

A figure found in all three comes from one source, not three.
