Inside the Apple LaserWriter is a 1989 book by Roger Hart, published by Scott, Foresman and Company of Glenview, Illinois and London, ISBN 0-673-38064-5 (Library of Congress TK7887.7.H38 1988).[1] The Library of Congress record gives the extent as xvii, 293 pages.[2] It is a third-party book, not an Apple publication.

Hart wrote it for office and desktop-publishing users of the LaserWriter and other PostScript printers; his preface says it is not a programmer's guide. It covers how laser printers work, connecting a LaserWriter to Macintosh, PC and other systems and networks, fonts, text and graphics, a PostScript primer, the non-PostScript LaserWriter II SC, practical printing problems and other PostScript printers of the time.[3]
