Macintosh C Programming Primer 1992
Macintosh C Programming Primer, Volume I: Inside the Toolbox Using THINK C, second edition, is a book by Dave Mark and Cartwright Reed, published by Addison-Wesley, copyright 1992. This scan is the first printing, May 1992. ISBN 0-201-60838-3 (volume 1); Library of Congress QA76.8.M3M368 1992, card number 92-4299.[1] The numbered pages run to 656.[2] The first edition of Volume I was published in 1989 as Macintosh Programming Primer: Inside the Toolbox Using THINK's Lightspeed C (ISBN 0-201-15662-8).[3]
Volume I is the introductory volume. It takes a C programmer through setting up THINK C 5, QuickDraw drawing, events, menus and dialogs to complete small Macintosh applications, with appendices on the THINK C and debugger commands, debugging techniques, HyperCard XCMDs and the new Inside Macintosh series.[4] Macintosh C Programming Primer 1989 and Macintosh C Programming Primer 1990 hold Volume II.
