Advanced Programming Techniques on the Commodore 64: Powerful Ideas and Applications is a BASIC programming book for the Commodore 64 by David Lawrence, first published in 1983 by Sunshine Books (an imprint of Scot Press Ltd), London, and reprinted in 1984. ISBN 0 946408 23 8.[1] Open Library gives the extent as ix, 174 pages; the main text ends with the postword on p. 171.[2]

The back cover describes it as a book "for anyone who wants to begin real programming with the Commodore 64", following Lawrence's The Working Commodore 64. Each chapter covers one technique in BASIC, with listings.[3]
