• Section 3 — Testing with and without the SALT II cartridge.
• Section 4 — Disassembly and assembly, including CPU PCB, module assembly and RAM/ROM module installation.
• Sections 5 and 7 — Diagnostic flowcharts for the 400 and the 800 respectively, with the clock circuit table (Table 5-1), the RAM test matrix (Table 5-2) and the port test legend (Table 5-3).
• Section 6 — Symptom checklist.
• Section 8 — Game controllers, with joystick and paddle schematics and test procedures.
• Section 9 — Parts lists for both machines, with reference designators, descriptions and Atari part numbers, including every capacitor and its type.
• Section 10 — Service bulletins, including Upgrade Bulletin 1 (CTIA to GTIA) and Tech Tip 2 (Revision A/B operating system ROMs must not be mixed).
