Real World Apple Guide 1995
Real World Apple Guide is a 1995 book by Jesse Feiler, published by M&T Books, a division of MIS:Press (a subsidiary of Henry Holt and Company), New York. ISBN 1-55851-429-5; Library of Congress card number 95-1878.[1] The Library of Congress record gives the extent as xix, 411 pages.[2]
The book explains how to write help for Apple Guide, the task-based assistance system in System 7.5 and later: writing guide files in Guide Script with Guide Maker (access windows, panels, coach marks, sequences, context checks and events), adding Apple Guide support to applications through its API, OpenDoc and MacApp, adding it to HyperCard stacks, 4th Dimension databases and word-processor documents, and localising guides.[3][1] It was sold with a CD-ROM.[4]
