Apple Newton Data Sheets collects Apple's two-page product data sheets for the Newton MessagePad and its accessories, as held by the UNNA archive. Each sheet gives order numbers and a technical specification.[1]

What they settle

  • Order numbers: MessagePad 100 H0123LL/A; MessagePad 110 H0060LL/A; MessagePad 130 H0188LL/A; MessagePad 2100 H0244Z/A; MessagePad 2000 H0136Z/A, H0226LL/A without the spreadsheet, and H0225LL/A with the Newton Keyboard.
  • Battery ratings, as Apple printed them: MessagePad 100 alkaline 6.0 V 1.1 Wh, NiCd 4.8 V 200 mAh; MessagePad 110 alkaline 6.0 V 4.1 Wh, NiCd 6.0 V 800 mAh.
  • MessagePad 130: 1,199K of system RAM and 1,361K of non-volatile user memory; a PC Card slot rated 325 mA; a built-in fast charger for the NiCd pack.
  • MessagePad 2000 and 2100: a pack that fast-charges in one hour in sleep mode; 480 × 320 screen at 100 dpi, 129.8 × 83.2 mm; two Type II PC Card slots for 3 V and 5 V cards.
  • Accessory order numbers and specifications, used on Apple Newton accessories. The 1997 sheet gives the Newton 9W Power Adapter as 7.5 V at 1.2 A from 100–240 V input; the Polish sheet gives the earlier adapter as 7 V at 0.5 A.

What they do not contain

They are sales documents: no service information, schematics or voltages beyond the battery and adapter ratings. The Polish sheet is in Polish only. There is no data sheet here for the Original MessagePad or MessagePad 120.[1]
