- Ports and Cables - External Connectors (p. 23) and External Connectors - Pinouts (p. 25)
The connector pinouts on page 25 are the reason to keep this document: they are printed in none of the Service Source printer volumes, and they are what a reader needs to make or test a serial or LocalTalk cable.
What this addendum does not contain
[edit | edit source]It is a supplement, not a manual: no take-apart procedures, no adjustments, no schematic, no component values. The parts lists are selections, as in the parent guide.

A mislabelled duplicate
[edit | edit source]The page Apple Service Guide For Laserwriter Printers Volume I Sept 1993 is not Volume I. Its file is a 27-page scan whose own title page reads LaserWriter Printers Volume I Addendum - Service Guide - September 1993: it is this same addendum, and its scan additionally carries a "TUCKER ELECTRONICS MASTER FILE DO NOT SHIP" stamp. Volume I itself is the 217-page January 1992 guide at Apple LaserWriter Printers Volume I.
