It is a beginner's guide to using a Macintosh — the keyboard, turning the machine on, what is on the screen, the mouse or trackball, menus, and what is inside the machine — structured around a set of cartoon "fear" characters (Qwerty, Togglebyte, WYSIWITCH, Mouseter, Menu Meany, The Black Hole) each introducing a topic.
The chapter on "What's in Your Machine" is an owner-level overview, not a service description.
Not a repair source. This is a software book: no schematic, no parts list, no component value, no voltage and no fault-finding procedure for any machine. Nothing on this wiki should cite it for a hardware figure.
