Acorn A440 Circuit Diagram (0177,300)
The Archimedes PCB (4M only) (A440) Circuit Diagram is Acorn Computers' drawing 0177,300/C for the main board of the Acorn Archimedes A440: two A0 sheets, scanned at 300 dpi and hosted as two single-page files. The title block is dated 1987 and records issues A, 1, 2 (ECO E427) and 3 (ECO E451, January 1988).
The same drawing is reproduced at reduced size in the drawings section of the Archimedes 440 Service Manual (manual pages 105 to 117).
Contents
[edit | edit source]- Sheet 1: the ARM (IC43), MEMC (IC45) and VIDC (IC17), the 32 DRAMs, the ROM sockets, the video output stages and the audio amplifier IC68.
- Sheet 2: the rest of the board, including the IOC, the floppy and hard disc controllers and the I/O ports.
What this document does not contain

- It covers the 4 MB A440 board only, not the A300-series boards.
