Apple LocalTalk PC Card Owner's Guide (1987)
[edit | edit source]The Apple LocalTalk PC Card Owner's Guide, copyright 1987, is 152 pages in this scan. It covers installing the card, connecting it to the network through the LocalTalk Locking Connector Kit DB-9 (M2065), installing the PC LaserWriter Program, and printing WordStar, MultiMate, Lotus 1-2-3, Microsoft Word, ASCII and Diablo 630 files to a LaserWriter. Appendix C (pp. 109-112) gives the memory and system requirements, the I/O, DMA and interrupt resources the card uses, the DIP switch functions and the driver options.[1] The manual has no circuit diagram, parts list or service procedure.

Apple LocalTalk PC Card Installation Guide (1989)
[edit | edit source]The Apple LocalTalk PC Card Installation Guide, part number 030-2161-B, copyright 1989, is 40 pages in this scan. It was written for the card as sold with AppleShare PC, and gives the shipped, recommended and secondary DIP switch settings and the card's technical details in an appendix (pp. 19-22). Its cover photograph shows the card.[2]
