DECmate III Documentation describes the Digital Equipment Corporation print sets for the DECmate III and its VR201 monitor, with the PDF of each.
PC238 DECmate III print set (MP-01968-01)
[edit | edit source]DEC's PC238 DECmate III print set, MP-01968-01, 60 pages. The unit drawings are dated May 1984.[1]
Contents, from the drawing directory: DECmate III unit assembly and parts list (120 V and 240 V units); wiring interconnection drawing; DM III system board 54-16489 drawing directory, assembly, schematics and parts lists for variations -1 and -2; DM III adaptor board 54-16506 assembly and parts list; BA25-H small system box drawing and parts list, which identifies the RX50-AA drive and the H7845 power supplies; cables.[1]
It has no schematic or parts list for the H7845 power supply, the RX50 drive or the monitor. The capacitor values on DECmate III Capacitor Replacement Guide and the J2 power pin-out on DECmate III Troubleshooting Guide come from this set.

VR201 monitor print set (MP-01410)
[edit | edit source]DEC's VR201 print set, MP-01410, May 1982, 17 pages. The VR201 is the 12-inch monochrome monitor used with the DECmate II and DECmate III.[2]
Contents: monitor assembly with the variation legend (VR201-A white P4, VR201-B green P31, VR201-C amber P134); the 54-15500 monitor board drawing directory, assembly, rework notes, schematic and four-sheet parts list; mechanical assembly drawings; cable assemblies.[2]
