What this manual does not contain

[edit | edit source]

The manual works at FRU level. It has no schematics and no component values, and a system board is a single part number. The only capacitor it mentions is the "bulging capacitor" hazard in the safety inspection guide.

What it settles

[edit | edit source]

The 365 section keeps the 365C/CD/CS/CSD and the 365E/ED apart, with a product overview (pp. 58 and 59) and a parts listing (pp. 84 and 87) for each.

The front matter lists the related manuals and diagnostic diskettes with part and form numbers (pp. iv-v), including Volume 1 (30H2356, S82G-1501-01), Volume 2 (30H2357, S82G-1502-03) and the ThinkPad Hardware Maintenance Diskette for the 355, 360, 560, 750, 755 and 760 (78H5384).
