Macintosh C Primer Plus 1986

From RetroTechCollection

Macintosh C Primer Plus is a 1986 book by Stephen Prata of The Waite Group, published by Bantam Books (Bantam Computer Books) in March 1986. ISBN 0-553-34197-9; copyright 1986 by The Waite Group, Inc.[1] The Library of Congress record (QA76.8.M3 P73 1986) gives the extent as xiv, 382 pages.[2]

The book teaches the whole C language to readers who know some BASIC or Pascal, and shows experienced C programmers how to use the Macintosh Toolbox and QuickDraw from C. Its examples are written for Hippopotamus Software's Hippo C Level 1 compiler; Prata says they work with the other popular Macintosh C compilers and points out where Hippo C differs from standard C.[3]
