Chapter 1, Hardware (PDF pp. 11-48): introduction and features list, front and back views, compatibility issues (LCD changes, video output, RAM expansion slot, new modem interface, SCSI disk mode, soft shutdown, internal microphone), hardware overview (processor, memory maps, the CPU GLU, Miscellaneous GLU, Gray Scale Controller and video controller, ROM, RAM and its battery backup in sleep), floppy, serial and SCSI interfaces, internal hard disk, sound, Power Manager, internal display and external video interfaces, the RAM expansion interface with a card design guide, the modem expansion interface and the security connector. Chapter 2, Software (PDF pp. 49-54): ROM and system software. It has no service procedures or component values.
Two of its figures differ from the Service Source: it gives the main battery as 2.8 Ah (Service Source: 2.5 Ah) and puts the 4 MB of PSRAM on the main logic board (Service Source: on the daughterboard).
