PowerPC Programmers Toolkit 1996

PowerPC Programmer's Toolkit is a book by Tom Thompson, published by Hayden Books, a division of Macmillan Computer Publishing, Indianapolis, © 1996, ISBN 1-56830-241-X, Library of Congress catalog number 95-80297. The acknowledgements describe it as the second edition. The technical reviewers were Jim Trudeau and Mark Anderson of Metrowerks and Alan Lillich of Apple Computer. The book came with diskettes, whose licence is printed at the back; the scan has 507 PDF pages, ending with a Metrowerks CodeWarrior order form and the licence.[1]

At the time Thompson was a Senior Tech Editor at Large for BYTE. The book is a guide to writing native Power Macintosh software in C. Chapter 1 covers the Power Macs themselves up to the 7500, 8500 and 9500, and Appendix A covers the PowerPC processor family.[1]
