Programming For System 7 1991

From RetroTechCollection

Programming for System 7 is a book by Gary Little and Tim Swihart, with a foreword by Scott Knaster, published by Addison-Wesley in its Macintosh Inside Out series, first printing September 1991, ISBN 0-201-56770-9, Library of Congress card number 91-18050. Jim Luther was the technical reviewer. The text and index are numbered to p. 359; the scan has 371 PDF pages, including the publisher's list of titles in the series at the back.[1]

The book covers the programming interfaces that were new in System 7, released in May 1991, as a companion to Apple's Inside Macintosh Volume VI. Knaster's foreword describes it as a guide to the new features, not a replacement for Volume VI.[1]
