There are a lot of common mistakes that are made with drafts. Here are a few you must watch out for:
- Writing about a machine or console you know noting about.
It's always good to have a bit of knowledge about the machine or console you are writing about. It will save you a lot of research time, and, hopefully stop you from asking ChatGPT.
- Copy-pasting material
Please try not to copy and paste material from other sites, books, etc...
- Overly promotional language
Terms like "leading expert" and "ground-breaking technology" sound great when promoting a product, but they do not belong on the RTC Wiki. Let the facts speak for themselves.
- Using AI to write articles
Large language models like ChatGPT can create articles that look OK, but contain untrue or hallucinated information. Ideally, don't use them at all.
