RetroTechCollection:Administrators
Administrators (also called sysops) are users with extra rights on RetroTechCollection: they can delete and restore pages, block users, protect pages and edit the site interface. Moderators review the edits that are held for moderation.

What administrators do
[edit source]- review edits held for moderation: edits by users who are not logged in, and by accounts that have not yet been approved as trusted editors
- approve accounts as trusted editors (the automoderated group), so that their edits appear without review
- delete and restore pages and files under the Deletion policy
- warn and block users under the Blocking policy
- protect pages
- handle removal requests from copyright holders under RetroTechCollection:Copyright violations
- grant user rights (bureaucrats only)

Becoming an administrator
[edit source]Administrator and moderator rights are granted by a bureaucrat. Volunteers can apply through the staff application linked from the Main Page.
