Teach Yourself Java in 21 Days 1996

From RetroTechCollection

Teach Yourself Java in 21 Days is a Java tutorial by Laura Lemay and Charles L. Perkins, published by Sams.net Publishing, Indianapolis, © 1996, first edition, ISBN 1-57521-030-4, Library of Congress catalog card number 95-78866. The printing code on the copyright page shows the second printing. The printed book has roman-numbered front matter and 527 pages, ending with the index.[1] It came with a CD-ROM carrying the full JDK distribution, which is not part of the scan. The scan has 559 PDF pages and leaves out some blank pages at chapter ends (p. 94, before Day 6, is one).

The book is written for readers with some programming background, assumes no knowledge of object-oriented design, and is meant to be read over three weeks, one chapter a day. It is filed with the Apple programming books, but it is not about the Macintosh, which it mentions only in passing.
