If the system boots, plays clean audio, reads commercial discs reliably and writes new files without error, the capacitors are within tolerance. Always recap if: * Fluid leak visible from any electrolytic on the main PCB, audio sub-PCB or drive logic board. * Drive will not read after a fresh belt replacement. * Drive motor stutters at spin-up. * Audio is degraded or distorted. * System resets randomly under load.
