This is the {{tl|editnotice explanation}} template.

It can be placed at the top of talk pages of [[WP:Editnotice|editnotices]]. 

This template takes two optional parameters, the first of which is the CSS class/id name of the editnotice, if one has been set (typically via the "id" and "class" parameters of {{tl|fmbox}}).

* Example: <kbd><nowiki>{{Editnotice explanation}}</nowiki></kbd>
* Example: <kbd><nowiki>{{Editnotice explanation|idname}}</nowiki></kbd>

The second optional parameter, {{para|2|fully protected}}, will remove template editors from this notice on talk pages of fully protected edit notices.
