Tom Thompson was Senior Technical Editor at Large for BYTE magazine and had covered the Macintosh for a decade when he wrote this; the book was technically reviewed by Jim Trudeau and Mark Anderson of Metrowerks and Alan Lillich of Apple Computer. That review line is why it is one of the more reliable PowerPC books of the period.
