It is a programming book. It contains '''no service procedures, no exploded views, no parts lists, no schematics, no voltages and no component values''', and nothing in it should be cited for a hardware figure. Apple's own repair documentation is in [[:Category:Apple Service Source]]; for electrical data on a specific machine the '''Developer Notes''' are the place to look, because they carry rail currents, processor-direct-slot power budgets and connector pinouts that the ''Service Source'' manuals do not.

Macintosh C Programming Primer, Volume II: Mastering the Toolbox Using THINK C is a book by Dave Mark, published by Addison-Wesley, copyright 1990. ISBN 0-201-57016-5. This scan is the fifth printing, July 1992.[1] The Library of Congress data on the copyright page is for the two-volume set (QA76.8.M3M368 1989, card number 88-34992) and so also prints 0-201-15662-8, which is the ISBN of Volume I, Macintosh Programming Primer: Inside the Toolbox Using THINK's Lightspeed C by Dave Mark and Cartwright Reed (1989).[1][2] The numbered pages run to 512.[3]

Volume II follows on from Volume I. It covers memory management and handles, code resources (an INIT and control panel device are built as examples), Color QuickDraw, TextEdit and object programming in THINK C. The foreword is by Scott Knaster.[4]

It is the same book as the scan at Macintosh C Programming Primer 1989, which is the fourth printing (November 1991); the two printings have the same contents, including the THINK C 5.0 pages.
