StyleWriter 1500 Service Source
The StyleWriter 1500 volume of Apple's Service Source is the field-service manual for the Apple StyleWriter 1500 ink-jet printer. The file is 89 pages.
Note on the file name. The file is stored on this wiki as color_stylewriter_1500.pdf, but the printer is a mono machine and the manual's own title page reads StyleWriter 1500, not Color StyleWriter 1500. The file name is misleading; the page title is correct.

What this manual settles
editThe Introduction lists the differences from the StyleWriter 1200 explicitly, and two of them matter on the bench:
- There is no internal power supply. The 1500 runs from an external adapter, so a 1500 that is dead is an adapter fault until proved otherwise — unlike the StyleWriter and StyleWriter II, which have an internal supply and a fuse.
- There is no Error LED and no paper output tray on the 1500, so the status-light symptom charts written for earlier StyleWriters do not apply.
The sheet feeder and the plastic cover of the controller and feed rollers were changed to match the vendor's new paper-feeding scheme across the product line, so feeder parts are not interchangeable with the 1200.
An EEPROM Reset procedure is documented at p. 83; it is required after some board work.
What this manual does not contain
editService Source is Apple's field-service library, and it is written at module level. This volume contains no schematic, no component values, no capacitor list and no voltage tables for the internal rails. Faults are resolved by exchanging the named assemblies, and the figures below are the printer's external electrical and mechanical specification, not internal test points. Anyone recapping the supply is working without a manufacturer parts list.
