File:Sega Mega CD main board 837-8015-01 parts location.png
Summary
Sega's own mount diagram (component side) for the 837-8015-01 IC BD MEGA-CD MAIN BD — the main board of the front-loading Sega CD (Model 1). Every part is drawn in its board position with its value written beside it, which is what makes it usable as a recap map for the Sega CD (Model 1) Capacitor Replacement Guide.
Landmarks: the ML2016-HS1 backup cell and the two TC511664BZ-80 word-RAM devices along the top edge; the 315-5548 gate array in the centre with the 50 MHz oscillator beside it; HD68HC000CP-12 and the MPR-14088 boot ROM at the left; LC8951 and 315-5476A along the lower edge; CONN FFC 25P (CN1) and CONN FFC 21P (CN3) to the sub board and drive. The aluminium electrolytics are the parts marked 10 µF and 100 µF/6.3 V — on this board revision C1, C9–C13, C23, C26, C28, C31, C37, C41, C42, C46, C48 and C53.
Note that the same manual's parts list covers the later export boards 837-8952 / 837-8953, whose designators differ; read the silkscreen on your own board before ordering.
