Macintosh LC Series/ Quadra 605 Service Source
The Macintosh LC Series/Quadra 605 volume of Apple's Service Source is a 112-page service manual covering the Macintosh LC, LC II, LC III, LC 475 and Quadra 605. The PDF was distilled on 4 December 1995.
Service Source volumes are module-level documents. They give Apple's own specifications, symptom charts, take-apart procedures and module part numbers, but they do not carry schematics, board-level parts lists or component values, so they cannot be used to source a capacitor table. Where a figure below is quoted, it is quoted as Apple printed it.

Notable content
[edit | edit source]The Upgrades chapter is unusually complete for this family: LC Ethernet, LC→LC II, LC→LC III, LC II→LC III, the LC 475 logic board upgrade and the Macintosh Processor Upgrade are all separate procedures. Note the different maximum-power figures: the LC and LC II supply is nearly twice the rating of the Quadra 605 one.
What this manual does not contain
[edit | edit source]- No schematic, no parts list, no component values — this volume cannot source the capacitor tables on the LC-family guides that link to it.
- No Adjustments chapter (these are not all-in-one machines).
