The Macintosh Performa 5300 is an all-in-one personal computer manufactured by Apple Computer, Inc., introduced on October 17, 1995. It is a non-CD-ROM variant of the Performa 5300CD, sharing the same PowerPC 603e processor and 15" display but without the CD-ROM drive.

The Performa 5300 was intended as a lower-cost entry point for consumers who did not require CD-ROM functionality. It shares its logic board (codenamed "Cordyceps") with the Performa 5200CD and Performa 5300CD.[1]

Differences from Performa 5300CD

All other specifications (CPU, RAM, display, expansion) are identical to the 5300CD.
