Macintosh Game Programming Techniques is a 1996 book by Cary Torkelson, published by M&T Books, New York (ISBN 1-55851-461-9).[1] The Library of Congress record gives xv, 432 pages.[2] The scan here is 444 PDF pages including the covers; the book's CD-ROM (Appendix B) is not included.

The book teaches game programming in C on the Macintosh Toolbox, building a complete example game, Desert Trek, chapter by chapter. It covers memory and events, resources and ResEdit, windows, menus, dialog boxes, QuickDraw and offscreen graphics worlds, text, files and the Sound Manager, and ends with testing, distribution and marketing.[3]
