Schneider DMP4000 Service Manual
The Kundendienst-Handbuch / Service Manual DMP 4000 is Schneider Computer Division's service manual for the DMP 4000 wide-carriage dot-matrix printer ā the DACH-region badge of the Amstrad DMP4000. Ident-Nr. 33984; the footer code is HDS 60964/2500/16/87, dating it to 1987. 14 pages, German and English in parallel, with a text layer.
Amstrad's own combined manual treats the DMP4000 as an eight-page appendix. This one is a dedicated DMP4000 manual with its own complete electrical parts list, and is the better source for the machine.

The DMP4000 has three fuses ā T5A, T3.15A and T1A, all 250 V, all slow-blow. That is worth knowing before condemning a board: the DMP3000 has a different arrangement, and a dead wide-carriage machine is often one of these three.
The capacitor list in this manual is short by design. Only C101 and C104 appear, both 0.047 ĀµF 250 V film parts on the mains side. The electrolytics are not itemised in this document ā if you are recapping a DMP4000, this manual will not give you their values, and this wiki has no other source that does.

As on the DMP3000, the Centronics port sources +5 V at 50 mA maximum.
What it does not contain
