Atari 2600 and 2600A Field Service Manual

Atari's own field service manual for the Atari 2600, covering both the CX2600 six-switch and the CX2600A four-switch consoles. Section 2 carries the switchboard schematics and silkscreens and separate motherboard silkscreens for the CX2600 and for 2600A Revs 1–13, Revs 14–15 and Revs 16 and up. Section 3 gives the static-discharge retrofit. Sections 4–7 are the diagnostic flow charts and the Diagnostic Test Cartridge tests. Section 8 is the complete CX2600 and CX2600A parts list with reference designators, part numbers, values and voltage ratings for every capacitor, and Section 9 reproduces Atari's service bulletins and tech tips, including the February 1982 C241/C242 bulletin, the February 1982 static-discharge bulletin and Tech Tip 4 on the 820 Ω blanking resistor.
