What it settles

[edit | edit source]
  • The three analog card versions (676-[ ]101, 102 and 107), and the removal of C29 and C30 from 101 and 102 cards to stop data damage on Open Apple-Control-Reset and with some copy-protected software (pp. 4.4-4.6).
  • Fuzz on an analog card usually means C21 exploded because the computer was on while the card was installed (p. 4.5).
  • DuoDisks with serial numbers below 325000 can have loose analog boards; the shield is bent in about 1 mm to hold them (p. 6.2).
  • The mechanical assembly 661-72128 is shared with the Apple 5.25 Drive and UniDisk, with a different sub-bezel (p. 2.2, IPL.5).
