Documentation for the Apple Monochrome Monitor (A2M6016): Apple's Technical Procedures, the owner's guide, and Apple's 1988 data sheet for the Apple II monochrome monitors. All three are hosted here and embedded below.
Technical Procedures
[edit | edit source]Monochrome Monitor Technical Procedures is the monitor's section of Apple Service Technical Procedures: Apple II Family, Volume Two, part number 072-0229, November 1991 build. The hosted file is 52 pages: the volume's two-page table of contents and the whole section, with pages dated between October 1986 and April 1990.

- Section 3, Adjustments (pp. 3.3-3.9): safety instructions, set-up with the Apple IIGS Diagnostics diskette, sub-brightness, horizontal hold, focus

What this document does not contain
[edit | edit source]No schematic, component values, voltages or anode figure, and no fuse rating (only part number 740-0308). Apple forbids yoke adjustments on this monitor, so there are none. The CRT safety section the procedures refer to (Section 8 under the binder's "You Oughta Know" tab) is not included.

Owner's guide
[edit | edit source]Apple Monochrome Monitor Owner's Guide, Apple II series, for the Apple IIc and Apple IIGS, copyright 1986. The hosted scan is 23 pages: setting up (including the detachable cord on 220/240 V models), the controls, the Height-Adjustment bar, cleaning, service and support, and an appendix of specifications.
