Intro to Macintosh 1985

From RetroTechCollection

This file is a 57-page scanned handout from an introductory Macintosh training course taught in October 1985 by an instructor named on the first page as Christy Howe. It is not an Apple publication and carries no publisher, part number or ISBN.[1]

The first page lists the course objectives: review Macintosh hardware, care and handling of diskettes, screen set-up, using the mouse, the desk accessories, the System Folder, exercises in MacDraw, MacWrite and MacPaint, integrating applications, backing up and filing, and a handout for MacTerminal.[1] The handout itself consists of step-by-step exercises in MacDraw, MacWrite and MacPaint, followed by the MacTerminal set-up for VT-100 terminal emulation and file transfer to and from the site's VAX.[2] The hardware and diskette objectives are not covered in the handout pages.
