10:35  IBM PS/2 Model 70 Troubleshooting Guide diffhist +643 Josh talk contribs (Rebuild against Ardent Tool's 8570 planar pages and IBM's error/FRU lists: replace the hand-transcribed POST tables (104 was not a protected-mode failure, 114 not a paging test, 151 and 365 are not in IBM's list, 162 is not a checksum error, 2401/2402/2403/2408 are not in the 24xx family, and the coprocessor family is 7xx not 8xx) with the single reference on the Model 50 guide; '161 - replace DS12887' was wrong (the Model 70 takes a 6 V pack, FRU 72X8498); replace the three invented ECAs wit...)

03:33  IBM PS/2 Model 30 diffhist +4,256 Josh talk contribs (Rebuilt against IBM's Model 30 Technical Reference and announcement letters plus the ardent-tool planar maps. Three figures were wrong: the 8086 Model 30 DOES have a real-time clock (NS MM58167AN at U16, IRQ2, with the 3 V lithium cell on the RISER at B1, not on the planar); the fixed-disk interface is a dedicated 44-pin I/O channel with the controller on the drive, not ST-506; and the supplies are 70 W (8086, internal sensing) and 90 W (286, switched) - there is no 80 W unit. Also fixed two...)
03:31  IBM PS/2 Model 25 diffhist +2,963 Josh talk contribs (Rebuilt against IBM's Model 25 Technical Reference (hosted here) and the ardent-tool planar maps. Colour PSU is 113 W not 115 W (IBM TechRef; the Canadian quick reference rounds it) and the 286/SX are 124.5 W; the fixed disk is a dedicated 44-pin I/O-channel connector with the controller ON THE DRIVE, not an ST-506 controller or an aftermarket ST-506 kit; keyboard and mouse ports ARE interchangeable on the 8086 per IBM, so the '301 error if swapped' claim is removed; corrected the planar chip...)

00:03 (cur | prev) +9,300 Josh talk contribs (Verified against IBM Technical Reference (Oct 1990), IBM announcement letters 188-078/188-079/189-102/189-144/189-196/191-079 and ardent-tool planar maps. Fixed: RTC is a Motorola MC146818A with a separate 6 V lithium pack (FRU 72X8498), not a Dallas DS1287/DS12887; slots are 2x32-bit + 1x16-bit AVE, not 3x32-bit; memory is 3 SIMM sockets/6 MB (16-20 MHz) or 4/8 MB (25 MHz), not 4 sockets/16 MB; fixed disk is DBA-ESDI with integrated controller, not an ESDI Fixed Disk Adapter/A card; dimensio...)

Fixed: PSU rail table replaced with IBM service limits (+5 V 3.7-6.2, +12 V 9.0-15.0, -12 V -9.0 to -15.0) and the fabricated -5 V rail deleted - IBM documents three DC outputs only; RTC section rewritten (MC146818A + separate 6 V pack FRU 72X8498, assembly FRU 33F5950, 5.5 V threshold), Dallas DS1287/DS12887 claim removed; cover slides forward ~50 mm, not back 10 mm; PSU is three screws, not four; unsourced 3 A keyboard fus...)
