Summary
[edit | edit source]A 37-page third-party compilation of Commodore PET 2001 service material assembled and sold by P.S. Software House / Marketing and Research Co. ("PET-SHACK"), P.O. Box 966, Mishawaka, Indiana, over the signature of its president Larry R. Shallenberger. It is not a Commodore document.
Contains PET-Shack's covering letter; an errata sheet of corrections and differences for the PET schematics; a note on ROM and RAM chips; the power supply and video monitor circuit; the cassette deck record/play circuits with values; a capacitors sheet including a 0.0047 µF 1 kV part and the TIP29/TIP30 supply pass transistors; and manufacturer data sheets for the MOS 6550, Synertek 2114/2316, SY6500, SY6520 and SY6522, Motorola MC3446 and various TI 74-series parts.
Described on PET Shack Service Bundle. Secondary to Commodore's own parts lists and schematics.
