Macintosh SE/30 Service Source
The Macintosh SE/30 volume of Apple's Service Source is a 89-page service manual covering the Macintosh SE/30. The PDF was distilled on 5 December 1995.
Service Source volumes are module-level documents. They give Apple's own specifications, symptom charts, take-apart procedures and module part numbers, but they do not carry schematics, board-level parts lists or component values, so they cannot be used to source a capacitor table. Where a figure below is quoted, it is quoted as Apple printed it.

Notable content
[edit | edit source]Apple's battery verification requires the cover off, the CRT discharged and the logic board removed before the cell is measured, and warns that the lithium cell can explode if mishandled. The SE/30 analogue board is the one the file File:Classic Analog Board Schematic.pdf actually documents — see Macintosh Classic Capacitor Replacement Guide.
What this manual does not contain
[edit | edit source]- No schematic, no parts list, no component values.
- No Upgrades chapter at all, unlike the SE volume.
- The Adjustments chapter is Yoke and Video only — there is no voltage adjustment.
