ATARI 410 Program Recorder operator's manual (1979)
[edit | edit source]The earlier operator's manual, Atari part number C014810 Rev. 2, copyright 1979, has 7 PDF pages.[3] Its safety paragraph warns that the recorder contains dangerous voltage when plugged into a 115 V outlet, and notes that some machines have a PAUSE key and some have separate STOP and EJECT keys. It explains the 7-second limit on tape leader, with errors 143 (checksum) and 138 (device timeout) when the leader is too long, and covers saving, loading and the Educational System cassettes.
