Help:Watchlist
Your watchlist shows recent changes to the pages you follow. It needs an account. Open it from the Watchlist link at the top of any page, or at Special:Watchlist.
Watching a page
[edit source]Click the star at the top of a page to add it to your watchlist, or use the shortcut Alt+Shift+W (Ctrl+Option+W on a Mac). Click the star again to remove it. Watching a page also watches its talk page. Preferences has options to add pages you create or edit to your watchlist automatically.
Editing the list
[edit source]Special:EditWatchlist lets you remove pages in bulk, and Special:EditWatchlist/raw lets you edit the list as plain text.
Notifications
[edit source]You are notified when someone writes on your talk page, mentions you, or replies to you in a discussion. Notification settings, including which notifications are sent by email, are on the Notifications tab of Preferences. Email needs a confirmed email address.
Feeds
[edit source]Recent changes are available as a feed for a feed reader: Recent changes (Atom). Each page's history has a feed too; add &action=history&feed=atom to the page's address. The watchlist can be read as a feed using the watchlist token in your preferences; see the MediaWiki help on watchlist feeds.
