What this manual does not contain
[edit | edit source]It is a programming and interface reference: no FRU numbers, removal procedures, symptom index, schematics or component values. Unlike the October 1990 edition it has no power supply section; the only electrical data is the input range and current draw in the physical specifications. Anything common to the PS/2 family is in the Hardware Interface Technical Reference.
What it settles
[edit | edit source]Figure 1-7 (p. 1-9) gives the physical and electrical specifications: 360 × 420 × 140 mm, 9.55 kg, heat output 144.8 W, input 90-137 V or 180-265 V at a maximum of 2.7 A or 1.4 A, and maximum allowable currents of 275 mA from the keyboard port and 300 mA from the auxiliary device port. The October 1990 edition gives 150 W heat output for the same machine.
