The Macintosh Performa 450 is a consumer-oriented personal computer introduced by Apple Computer on April 12, 1993.[1] It is a rebrand of the LC III for the consumer market, featuring the same hardware in the compact "pizza box" LC enclosure.
The Performa 450 was a significant upgrade from the earlier Performa 400-series models. It uses a Motorola 68030 processor running at 25 MHz with a full 32-bit data path. It shipped with 4 MB of RAM (expandable to 36 MB using a single 72-pin SIMM), 512 KB of VRAM (expandable to 768 KB), and a 120 MB SCSI hard drive.
