[edit | edit source]The Basics chapter prints the HDI-45 video connector pinout (pp. 9–14). The Power Macintosh Upgrade section describes the 7100/66 upgrade kit for the Centris 650 and Macintosh Quadra 650, which contains a 7100/66 logic board, top housing, bottom chassis, manual-insert floppy drive, video card, SCSI power cable and CD-ROM EMI shield (pp. 98–99). The logic board reset removes the battery, presses the power-on button on the rear panel beneath the power outlet and waits 5 to 10 minutes (pp. 124–128). A separate procedure covers removing the reset/interrupt actuator (pp. 129–130).
