Psion Serie 5mx Benutzerhandbuch
The Psion Serie 5mx Benutzerhandbuch is Psion Computers PLC's German user manual for the Psion Series 5mx and Psion Series 5mx Pro: version 1.0, July 1999, part no. 6105-0066-01. The print files named in the page footers are dated 20 February 2001.[1] The PDF has 249 pages; printed page numbers are ten lower than PDF page numbers (printed p. 223 is PDF p. 233). The hosted file and its Internet Archive source call it the 5mx Pro handbook, but the cover and title read "Serie 5mx Benutzerhandbuch"; the Pro appears in the specification only.[1]
The guide is a German translation of the English Psion Series 5mx User Guide, with the same chapters in the same order; like the English edition it often calls the machine "Serie 5". It is a user manual, not a service document.

What it settles
[edit | edit source]The specification (printed p. 223) gives the same figures as the English 5mx guide: 172 × 89 × 24 mm, 350 g with batteries, ARM 710T at 36.864 MHz, 10 MB ROM, two AA cells with a CR2032 backup cell, a 6 V DC ± 10 %, 1 A adapter, 0-40 °C. It adds "RAM: 24 MB (Serie 5mx Pro)" alongside 16 MB for the Series 5mx, and gives the German keyboard as a 53-key QWERTZ layout.[2] It is the source for the Pro's RAM figure on Psion Series 5mx Pro.
What it does not contain
