Apple Lisa Schematics
These are three of Apple Computer's Lisa schematics, each a D-size drawing scanned as its own PDF: the system I/O board (050-4008, revision K), the power supply (050-4011, revision H) and the video board (050-4012, revision E). Apple's September 1982 Lisa Hardware Manual lists 050-4011 as the Lisa power supply schematic (chapter 10).
Contents
[edit | edit source]- 050-4008-K, "Schematic, System I/O, Lisa": five sheets. Sheet 5, "Analog circuits", shows the contrast latch, the speaker amplifier and the battery backup circuit: a 4.8 V NiCd pack (BATV) with switch SW1, charged from +12 V through D7 (1N4001) and R39 (150 ohms, 1/2 W), and a 4193 switching regulator producing the +5B standby supply.
- 050-4011-H, "Schematic, Power Supply, Lisa": one sheet with every component value, including the mains input filter (C1 0.22 µF 250 V, C2 0.1 µF 250 V, C3 and C4 0.0022 µF 250 V), the voltage-doubler reservoirs C12 and C13 (390 µF 200 V), the 78M05C +5 V standby regulator, the 7905C −5 V regulator and the secondary filter capacitors. The revision block lists changes A to H.
- 050-4012-E, "Schematic, Video Board, Lisa": one sheet covering the analogue board: 78M24CT +28 V regulator, TDA1170 vertical deflection IC, horizontal drive, BU406 horizontal output, flyback transformer assembly 157-0002, yoke assembly 159-0007 and the CRT connections, with every component value. The revision block records value changes to C14, C2 and C1 and an added supply capacitor (revisions B to E).

- The power supply drawing is revision H; a later revision J, with one further change, is not hosted here. The DataPower supply is drawn only in the reverse-engineered DataPower schematic.
